THANKS
Really proud that you found your footing there! Keep in mind, drugs aren't always a gateway to this, sometimes if you're not careful you could trip back into the same place. But find those little things that make you feel alive.
Aside from that, I've never seen the best depiction of feeling the joys of this world. I'm feeling a lot glad after a bit of a depressing episode as I'm writing this, I got myself in a tizzy trying to finish something. That pure white bliss with those sparks of delightful shapes really what sets this artwork.
Keep well, and never give up!
Thank you!! And don't worry, I'm aware that drugs can't make you happy. But if you use the right ones responsibly, they can open doors for you y'know? But you still have to walk through them yourself. I'm glad you're feeling nice as you look at the picture and that you like the shapes :)
I'll keep well and I won't give up :)
And same to you!
Imma buy thousands of these to eat 'em!
XD Eating stickers, heheh thanks!
See you in 2024! ^-^
This is... Terrifying.
I hate to imagine this is what I see when I die...
Good to know I captured the terror well! I'd hate if this is what I'd see as well. But of course, I'm not dead, and none of us will know until that day comes. But I learned something though. I have been letting myself slip into a really cruddy place in my life for several years, letting myself be controlled by mental illness. And now that I am clear and collected, I believe that this was the mushrooms showing me a demo of what would eventually happen to me if I kept going down the insanely unhealthy path I was following. I would be alive, but not really. Basically living in death, rotting away my body and mind in my bedroom and becoming a completely insane hollow husk of the bright, imaginative person I am. Though it was one of the most horrifying, frightening, agonizing experiences of my life, I'm not hurt by it. Nothing bad actually happened to me. I am grateful that I was able to learn and have the will to move on from this bad spot in my life. Sorry if this response is way too long.
HA! I KNEW you were making a game!
Right?!
right...?
please tell me im right
I wish I can make a game. Coding still isn't my strong suit but I'm making a story though. Maybe in the future it might happen. Who knows x3
DANG DAT IS SUM SPRITEWORK
wait we met in Secret Santa server
Oh god that smugness from sonic is so fucking funny.
Its like he's about to sing a ditty about licking chilli dogs
lol
This moment in DE is by far my favourite.
The magical realism in this game is so astounding, heightened by the oil painting artstyle throughout. Especially when you run into Neha, it's that feeling when you discover something hidden, like a treasure trove or something.
I love how she's hyped up to be one of the more fantastical supra-natural beings, yet she's so grounded when you get to talk to her about her experiences in Martinaise. Almost the complete opposite of stick-bug.
Ok holy shit that is some amazing composition right there.
The mace both acts as a line for the eye to follow from the sun to the moon, which reveals the knight's amazing trinkets.
Their blue silk helps contrast the warm colours of the sun, which helps them stand out more.
And GOD the neat little paint textures adds some homemadeness!
I don't really know about the use of text in this, it would be even cooler if it's handwritten. And maybe make the paper a bit aged, it looks like it's printed out of a school printer.
Other than that, BRILLIANT!
Aww thanks. Glad you liked it and yeah I should use a different color for the paper. These are all really good ideas.!!! Really appreciate that you gave more time to look into it!!
Theater kat who happens to be good at coding and art!
